And the Winners are….(Round 3)

Before we get into new news, we’d like to do a recap of the previous winners.

The first was George W. Angell from Hillsdale, MI for Cuts Like A Knife, a film about a collection of antique Samurai swords passed onto him by his Grandfather. George decided to go to the Washington, DC show on August 21^st.

Our second winner was Cory Peters from Council Bluffs, Iowa for Abe Lincoln Appoints Mark Dunnel As Consul To Mexico. She will be attending the Des Moines, IA show on August 7th and will be bringing her collection of legal documents and personal possessions with her.

And introducing our third winner: Michael Silberman from Atlanta, GA for Dad’s Design Goes to the Moon. Michael has one of the most futuristic antiques we’ve ever seen and we’re excited to hear from the Roadshow’s 2010 Tour in Biloxi, MI, where he has told us he will be going to learn more about this truly unique memento.

We have one more surprise, and that is our ”Editors Pick”, Joan Watson-Jones from Derry, NH for The Smile That Captivated Paris . We loved Joan’s video so much that we decided to send her some VIP tickets. Joan will be at the Miami, FL show on July 10^th.

Thank you all for submitting to the Antiques Roadshow Open Call. We received several submissions and enjoyed watching them all.
